Blueberry Steel Cut Oats

This morning me and mark made steel cut oats with dried blueberries and craisins. This is one of Mark's favorite breakfasts, but ....meh, it just doesn't do much for me. I just don't think oatmeal is my thing (unless maybe its loaded with sugar, hah). My thoughts while cooking this was "ugh I don't think have waited so long (35 minutes) to cook something that I am not exited to eat when its done..." hah, I think this weekend or next week I am going to try to make some "overnight no-cook oats" and see how that goes, but last time I tried them I could only stomach one bite. http://www.theyummylife.com/Refrigerator_Oatmeal

I must point out that although I will probably still eat this every once in a while when Mark makes some, eating foods that you like or even LOVE is so important to sticking with healthy eating. You probably can already tell that I do not eat salads every night (or almost ever) I love to eat, and I need to eat what I love to be successful in this! Luckily I have found that it is pretty easy to eat TONS of food that is yummy and healthy, and not a salad or grilled chicken every night. 
Phew, who knew I had so much to say about oatmeal ;)
